What Is Messenger Home?
Messenger Home is an Android launcher & texting app that unifies your home screen and messaging experience. Access your favorite contacts right on your Android home screen with a shortcut to your 5 favorite contacts. Jump right back into conversations with a simple swipe right from your home screen, which takes you right into your messenger inbox.
Why Does My Home Screen Look Different?
Messenger Home replaces your existing home screen with an uncluttered and evolved messenger and home screen experience. Most frequent contacts are conveniently placed front and center on your home screen and we group your most popular apps into thematic folders for easy access in your app drawer. It may look different at first, but you will quickly get the hang of it!
Can I import my existing icons to Messenger Home?
This feature is a work in progress and is already made available on certain devices. We are working hard and constantly improving the app to make sure that we consistently deliver new and improved features that make your messaging experience fast and smooth.
Ads are what allow us to let users download the app for free, however, we are constantly improving the ad experience based on user feedback to ensure we are giving users the best possible experience with as little hassle as possible.
Should I Expect Ads?
We offer a selection of free emojis, however, we do also offer premium emojis that can be purchased within the app. Additionally, we are working on an integration to connect custom and personalized emojis right in the app.

How Do I Uninstall?
1. Uninstall via the main in-app, App Settings screen:
Click on the ‘Big Keyboard & Home Screen Settings’ Icon in the app drawer. Tap the Uninstall trash-can icon at the bottom of the screen.
2. Uninstall via the in-app FAQ screen:
Click on the ‘Big Keyboard & Home Screen Settings’ Icon in the app drawer. Tap the FAQ button. Select the ‘How Do I Uninstall Big Keyboard & Home Screen?’ option. Tap on the blue ‘Uninstall This App’ button.
3. Uninstall Manually:
• Navigate to your device settings in the app drawer
• Select 'Apps'
• Select Big Keyboard & Home Screen
• Tap 'Home Screen' and select a different option
• Navigate back to your device settings
• Select 'Apps'
• Select Big Keyboard & Home Screen
• Tap Uninstall
4. Uninstall via the Google Play Store:
Search Big Keyboard & Home Screen in the Google Play Store and tap ‘Uninstall’. Make sure you are logged into Google Play with the account you used when you downloaded the app.
The easiest way to change your home screen is by tapping the '“Switch Home Screen” button on the Messenger Home settings screen and selecting the home screen of your choice.
If you’d like to manually change your home screen:
Navigate to your phone’s settings by going to the system settings
Scroll down and select Apps.
Select Messenger Home
Tap 'Home Screen' and deselect Messenger Home by choosing any other home screen option
How Do I Change My Home Screen?
The easiest way to change your SMS App is by tapping the “Switch Messaging App” button on the Messenger Home settings screen and selecting the SMS app of your choice.
If you’d like to manually change your SMS Messaging App:
Navigate to your phone’s settings by going to the system settings
Scroll down and select Apps.
Select Messenger Home
Tap 'Messaging App' and deselect Messenger Home by choosing any other Messaging App option
